Dry hair? Try this shampoo and hair mask duo

Dry hair has always been an issue for me. I’m willing to experiment with new products in an attempt to designate one that really works for me and my hair, but it can be frustrating to find a winner.

I mentioned in a post a while ago that I was using Aveeno’s Almond Oil Blend shampoo and hair mask, and while at first the results seemed promising, I found that after using it for a bit that it made my scalp very itchy and my hair greasy. I really liked the products, though, so I thought I would try a different version of the same product.

I’ve been using Aveeno’s Oat Milk Blend shampoo and hair mask for a couple of weeks now, and while I don’t want to jinx it, so far so good. Both products are free of sulfates, dyes and parabens, which is something I look for in hair products, and the entire line from Aveeno is very affordable, which is always an added bonus.

The Oat Milk products from Aveeno’s line smell absolutely incredible, and I’m finding that both the shampoo and the hair mask are making a positive difference in terms of my hair’s dryness. After one use I noticed that my hair seemed a lot softer and that the ends didn’t resemble a straw bale quite as much, so I plan on continuing to use this duo for now.

If you’re someone who has dry hair, I highly recommend giving these two products a try. I also recommend the almond oil version, because while the products didn’t work as well for me as I had hoped, they could very well work for someone who doesn’t have an overly sensitive head.

I picked these products up from my local Shoppers Drugmart, but I imagine they’re available just about anywhere you normally do your cosmetic shopping. Try them out for yourself to see if they work for you.
