My Story

I’ve always felt as though having an understanding of a Blogger enhances the overall experience of reading their Blog. A familiarization with a Blogger’s background can often intensify how you perceive what they Blog about, and I think it is important to feel like you know a Blogger on a personal level. So, I wanted to share with you some information about myself to create a more personal vibe here On the Edge of Everything!

As I said in my little autobiographical blurb (my apologies if you already it), my name is Lauren, and I am in my third year of study at Brock University in St. Catharines. I am in the Honours English Language and Literature program, and am hoping to take my Masters studies at Brock (if my average permits) in order to pursue my ultimate goal of being an editor. You may have already figured this out considering what I am taking at Brock, but I love reading and writing, hence why I started this blog. Some of my favourite books include the entire Harry Potter series (The Goblet of Fire is my favourite) by J.K. Rowling, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews, Break by Hannah Moskowitz, Bone Chiller by Graham McNamee… I could keep going, but those are a few of my absolute favourites.

I am a diehard Sons of Anarchy fan, and am mentally married to Jax Teller/Charlie Hunnam because he is quite possibly the most attractive male specimen on the face of planet Earth. Just saying.

I have a passion for fitness (former rugby player) and nutrition, but at the same time I have a chocolate addiction which sort of counteracts the whole ‘healthy living’ thing. But, hey, it’s chocolate. #sorrynotsorryI live and work on my parents tobacco, ginseng, cash crop and poultry farm in Mt. Pleasant (to answer your question, yes, it is quite pleasant) with my older and amazing sister, and I have two Australian Blue Heeler dogs named Sam and Jake, seven cats named Lionel, Gemma, Ursula, Maurice, Peaches, Milo and Otis, and my sister has two goats named Calleigh and Maggie. Just to put it out there, pet goats are overrated. On a side note, my sister has her own vegetable and herb business called Earthly Delights, and her produce is fantastic! Here is a link to her Facebook page if you’re interested: https://www.facebook.com/daniellesvegetables/?fref=ts&ref=br_tf

If there’s anything you think I left out or anything you would like to know, please leave a comment below!

Thanks for reading :)
