Revlon’s Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer: hit or miss?

Quite a while ago now, I purchased the Revlon Salon One-Step™ Hair Dryer and Volumizer. To be honest, I forgot I owned it because I think it was misplaced when Blaine and I moved into our home; I was pleasantly surprised to discover it a couple of days ago, and because Blaine and I recently attended his work’s annual Christmas party, I figured it would be a great opportunity to put to use for the outing.

I ended up purchasing this device because of the positive reviews I read about it online – it was, and as far as I know, continues to be quite the rage online, so there is a solid chance you’ve heard about it already.

I think I paid around $70 dollars including tax if I remember correctly, and you can find this unit in most drugstore beauty departments and online. It is larger than I expected it to be, and while that might be an odd observation, keep it in mind if you don’t have a ton of storage space.

I really don’t enjoy using this thing, and while my disappointment toward its results might have something to do with the fact that my hair is quite long, it is also possible that I’m a fucking moron and am failing to use it correctly. That being said, I have watched video tutorials, but I cannot seem to get the hang of it, and this bitch has ripped more hair out of my head than I’d like to admit. I find it tangles my hair pretty badly, and it does a shit job of drying my hair, too. My hair does not look like it’s been blown out, but rather blown up, perhaps, upon using this demon device, and I’ve given it a fair shot in trying it out a few times now.

It doesn’t do anything for me, but a lot of other people seem to love it, so I’m happy for them at least.
