I think I’ve mentioned this at least once before in a post, but occasionally, I enjoy perusing through BuzzFeed articles listing new and popular products that are usually available for purchase via Amazon. A lot of the time, the products in question are ones I personally wouldn’t use, but every now and then, one appears that snags my attention.
While reading one such article a few days ago, I came across a body lotion I have seen all over the internet as of late. Made by eos, their Vanilla Cashmere Body Lotion is supposedly one of the best-smelling creams on the market, and furthermore, it apparently provides exceptional moisturizing.
If a product earns enough attention online, I tend to invest interest, because I am someone who sincerely appreciates the public’s opinion toward a specific product. I decided to order this lotion, and I purchased mine from Amazon, but I imagine it’s available at most drugstores, Walmart’s, etc.
The following is a descriptive blurb of the product’s scent, and its effects, pulled from evolutionofsmooth.com.
“A rich blend of whipped vanilla, soft musk, and caramel creates a smooth, comforting scent that wraps skin in warmth. Sweet, creamy, and irresistible.
“A silky, lightweight body lotion that delivers 24 hours of moisture without the greasy feel. Absorbs fast, smells amazing, and leaves your skin soft, smooth, and totally touchable,” the website explains.
For 16 fluid ounces, this product costs roughly $13.00 after tax here in Canada, and I think that is quite reasonable. I’ve been using it on my hands and cuticles the past few evenings prior to going to bed, and my hands literally feel like velvet after applying it. The scent is heavenly, and if eos ever decides to use this scent for a perfume, trust I will be one of the first people in line to get my hands on it.
