With this past Sunday being my twenty-first birthday, I asked my parents well in advance for a gift I knew I would make frequent use of. I typically try to avoid requesting specific things for my parents to give to me as gifts, but my mom was pretty stumped in regards to what to get me, so I figured I would help her out.
Back in January, I was watching a YouTube video by beauty guru Nicole Guerriero. I actually did a profile post featuring her several weeks ago, if you’re interested in who she is. Such video depicted Nicole launching her newest product in affiliation with the cosmetic world, though as opposed to makeup, she took the route of hair styling and hot tools. Guerriero developed a hot tools kit in collaboration with Bellami hair, and in doing so produced a trifecta of hair goodness. You can check that video out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU_Ve0tPyBI
When she uploaded this video in January, she disclosed a discount code that could be used to significantly reduce the cost of the kit when ordering it from the Bellami website online. I am not sure if the promotion code is still valid, but if it is, I highly recommend making use of it. The Nicole Guerriero Gold Bellami Hot Tools Kit regularly retails for $300.00, plus shipping if you reside outside of the United States, but with her discount code, the total cost of the same kit was $150.00. I still had to pay shipping, but if you’re an American citizen, that is a wicked deal.
The kit features a blow dryer, a flat iron, a curling wand with three different sized detachable barrels, as well as a curling wand stand, two hair clips and a comb. All of the products included in the kit are black and gold in color, and the flat iron and curling wand are composed of Titanium. All three products have adjustable temperatures, and all are easy and straight-forward to use.
So far I have tried out the flat iron and the curling wand in two out of the three sizes, and I am thoroughly impressed. The flat iron straightened out kinks in my hair with only one or two passes down the hair shaft, and did not cause my hair to become static-filled or frizzy. The curling wand heats up to 400 degrees in ten seconds (yes, seriously), and while I would not recommend using a product that hot on your hair, it is quite impressive. The curl in my hair held all day when I used the largest and middle sized wands, and I imagine the smallest sized wand will yield the same results.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who frequently styles their hair. The price may seem high at first glance, but when you think about it, going out and purchasing a curling wand, a flat iron, and a blow dryer all individually would cost far more than what the kit retails for. If you try it out, let me know what you think!
