Shopping is not one of my preferred pastimes.
I actually don’t enjoy shopping at all, which, according to most folks, is surprising. Perhaps their surprise is because I am a female, which is stereotyping, but I simply do not enjoy sweating while changing in and out of pieces of clothing that are too small or too big while spending money.
Anyways, I wanted to give some appreciation to stores I will visit when I must go shopping (however, I do most of my shopping online). I feel like some of these stores are slightly underrated, and perhaps that’s just my opinion, but I wanted to give them a shout-out nonetheless.
- Plato’s Closet
I’m not going to get into this one too heavily as I have probably mentioned it 100 times here on my blog, but if you have yet to visit one of these bad boys, I can’t recommend doing so enough. Fantastic finds for cheap prices, my friends.
2. Old Navy
Similar to Plato’s Closet, Old Navy is a store where you can find great, practical pieces for affordable prices. their clothes, from my experience, are good quality, and they have something for everyone, including kids and babies. Their accessory/jewelry section is almost always killin’ it, so be sure to check that out next time you’re in-store.
3. Dynamite
While Dynamite is more expensive than Plato’s Closet and Old Navy, I have found some absolute staples in terms of my everyday wardrobe from this store. Keep an eye on their website for sales, which is what I do, and see what you can find for yourself. They have a lot of unique and edgy pieces which are hard to come by.
Some honourable mentions include Haute Look, which is more pricey but designer, and Ardenes.
