Looking for an eye cream for dark circles? Read this

As reluctant as I am to admit that I have dark circles under my eyes at the ripe age of 26, I also figure it might be beneficial to share this in case there are other young folks out there experiencing the same thing and feeling badly about it. Dark circles can, apparently, strike at any age, and from my own experiences, I don’t think you necessarily have to wait until you’re 65 and older for them to start showing.

I’ve never struggled with dark circles like I have since being diagnosed with Lyme disease, and while I am making progress with the Lyme symptoms, the dark circles remain unchanged. It was getting to the point that I was beginning to resemble a raccoon, and because I had tried a few eye creams already with no success, I was getting a wee bit worried.

I ended up purchasing CeraVe’s Eye Repair Cream because I read somewhere that it is supposed to be dynamite in regards to reducing the appearance of dark circles. Check out the product’s description via CeraVe’s website:

“Eye puffiness and dark circles are among the most common eye-area skin concerns but a repair eye cream can help smooth and brighten this delicate skin. For optimal results with minimal irritation, look for an eye cream with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.

“CeraVe Eye Repair Cream features a Marine & Botanical Complex to help reduce the appearance of dark circles, eye puffiness and brighten the entire eye area. This non-greasy, fast-absorbing, fragrance-free eye cream also contains three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to help restore the skin barrier, retain hydration and help sooth the skin. Plus, it includes patented time-release MVE Delivery Technology for all-day hydration. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream is ophthalmologist-tested and is recognized as safe for use around the eyes

“This formula is:

  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Non-greasy and fast-absorbing
  • Non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free
  • Ophthalmologist-tested
  • Developed with dermatologists”

This shit works, my friends. I’ve been using it for about a month or so now, and I haven’t used another product that has actually helped to diminish the darkness underneath my eyes. This product is effective, affordable, and absolutely worth buying.
