I’ve made mention in a number of previous posts that I am a bit of a perfume junkie. I fully accept this component of my identity, and really, I figure there are far worse things to collect than perfume.
I’ve got my favourites, but I’m always enthusiastic to take a whiff of new smells and concoctions. I’m actually getting low in my own personal perfume arsenal and have been meaning to order some more, but one of the last times I was in Shoppers Drugmart, I came across something that has absolutely filled my fragrance void for the time being.
Shoppers carries a few different body mists and sprays, and you can bet I’ve sniffed them all. You can imagine my delight, then, the last time I was in-store and noticed there were some new additions to the body spray section, and they happened to be made by Ariana Grande.
There are a few different kinds of body mists made by Mrs. Grande, and I grabbed the scent ‘Sweet Like Candy.’ Here’s a description of it courtesy of the Shoppers website:
“Sexy. Playful. Irresistible. This body mist is perfect for a lighter dose of Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande. Treat Yourself to Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande(.) Indulge in the irresistible fragrance from Ariana Grande that surprises with candy sweet delight! A luscious burst of sugar-frosted Blackberry and juicy Italian Bergamot sparkle with delicious addiction, while velvety layers of Crème de Cassis, fluffy Marshmallow and sexy Vanilla blend together to leave a sexy trail.”
I’m not exactly sure about blazing a trail of sexiness behind me when I wear this stuff, but it smells fucking great. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments while wearing it, which has been pleasantly surprising because I actually get more feedback when I wear this spray as opposed to when I’m wearing an actual perfume, which is heavier.
One bottle of this stuff cost me about $15. It’s significantly cheaper than perfume, smells phenomenal, and lasts on the skin for a few hours. What more could you want?
