Is Burberry Her Eau De Parfum Spray worth buying?

I can’t exactly say I’ve kept my love and adoration for perfume a secret here on my blog. I’ve been obsessed with all things scented from a young age, and that is not an exaggeration; when I was about 12 or so, my mom used to have a rule that I had to keep my bedroom door shut at all times because one of my favourite scents is vanilla, and the cloud of it emulating from my room was enough to make my mom sick.

At the time, I thought my mom was delusional. Looking back, I can see how my perfume cloud that could rival an atomic bomb may have set her off a wee bit.

I like to think my taste in perfume has become more sophisticated over time. By that I mean I’ve upgraded from Calgon body sprays to actual, legitimate perfume, and I’ve successfully developed a rather impressive selection over the years. I’ve designated my favourites, but that isn’t to say I’m not open to discovering even more.

For Christmas that just passed, Blaine got me Burberry Her Eau De Parfum Spray. I went with him to get it, and while I was on the fence between this one and Gucci Bloom, I ultimately went with the Burberry, and I am very glad I did.

Burberry Her has notes of fruity gourmand, amber, vanilla and dark red berries, and the scent is heavenly. I’ve worn it a handful of times already, and I kid you not, I’ve received compliments and have had people inquire as to what scent they’re detecting on me each time I’ve worn it. The smell is a lovely balance between fresh florals and sultry vanilla, and it’s one that could be worn year-round as opposed to seasonally, which is something I can appreciate.

I absolutely think Burberry Her is worth buying, and I imagine if you were to give it a shot, it will quickly become one of your favourites, too.
