I’m relatively sure that I have already written a post discussing large water bottles, but because it was a while ago and I’ve since updated my hydration mechanism, I figure we can revisit the topic once again.
If I remember correctly, and if I did already write a post discussing a particular water bottle I recommend, it would have been a one-galleon water bottle. I loved that water bottle and used it religiously, up until it slipped out of Blaine’s hand and ended up with a tremendous crack right through it. I asked Blaine for a replacement water bottle for Christmas, and because I am thoroughly enjoying the bottle he gave me thus far, I thought I would share it with all of you.
I cannot get over the full name of this product – the GIFUBOWA Half Gallon Water Bottle with Handle and Straw 74oz Big Sport Water Jug Large Motivational 2.2l Bpa Free Leakproof Bottles for Gym Yoga Camping Outdoor Travel (quite a mouthful) is from Amazon and retails for $25. It comes in a few different colours and I opted for the black/green version, although I think it’s closer to turquoise.
I think one of the main reasons I’m enjoying this water bottle as much as I am is because it is significantly lighter than my former Galleon bottle. I did weigh my old one when it was full, and I think it was around 13 pounds or so. The GIFUBOWA is half the weight and a bit easier to transport, if I’m being honest.
The only issue I have with this new water bottle is its straw. It’s a bit odd and took me a while to figure out how to assemble it, but once I managed to put all of its components together, it’s been smooth sailing.
