Need a getaway? Visit Salvatores Grand Hotel

This past weekend, my mom and dad, my sister, me and Blaine ventured across the border to visit Buffalo, New York. The reason for the trip was that this little getaway was generously gifted to Blaine, Danielle and me as part of our Christmas gift; my parents had already stayed at the Salvatores Grand Hotel on Transit Road in Buffalo, and because they had such a lovely stay, they wanted all of us to experience it, too.

I have no doubt that any resident of Buffalo is familiar with the Salvatore family and their seriously admirable business endeavours, but, of course, the majority of this recognition can be attributed to Mr. Russel Salvatore himself. The man is honest to goodness a living legend, and I plan to dedicate a post to Russel and everything he has accomplished in his life because it is so incredible.

The Salvatores Grand Hotel is a top-notch establishment in everything it offers; food, hospitality, customer service, and more. The room Blaine and I stayed in was impeccably clean, and it was quite nice. Our bed was exceptional in the sense both Blaine and I couldn’t believe how well we slept, and the complimentary breakfast was decent.

The decor of Salvatores, in my own words, is swanky, and it reminded me a little bit of Peaky Blinders if that makes any sense whatsoever. Dark woods and colours, gold touches, and pops of maroon are the main features.

While we didn’t dine there, Russels Steaks, Chops and More is one of the most renowned restaurants in Buffalo. I couldn’t believe the number of awards lining the walls of the hotel lobby, and all of them were for Russels.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Salvatores, and if we happen to visit Buffalo again in the future, I imagine we will stay there once more.
