Protecting yourself from evil: a how-to guide

Allow me to acknowledge right here and now that I am not a professional in the context of warding off evil. I am not a paranormal investigator, nor am I certified with any sort of qualification in terms of the supernatural realm; rather, I find these realms incredibly interesting and have educated myself on matters affiliated with evil in addition to evil entities.

When I say evil, I’m referring to demons, demonic entities, vengeful spirits, hateful energies, etc., not evil in the form of a human being, although, granted, that is a common enough occurrence to avoid and protect ourselves against.

If you find yourself trying to determine ways to protect yourself from supernatural or paranormal evil, perhaps I can provide you with some helpful information.

Never, ever, EVER, purchase, own, wear, or be in direct contact with anything that you know has been cursed.

Don’t touch anything that has been visibly marked with dark magic or witchcraft.

If you’re into collecting antiques, be wary, as cursed items often find themselves in antique shops.

Do not, for any reason, dabble with Ouija boards, unless you really are a professional.

Hang crosses and crucifixes throughout your home, and wear them directly on your own body in the form of jewelry.

Reach out to someone who is experienced in smudging and have them come to your home.

Own holy water, blessed by a Catholic priest, and keep some in your home.

Ask a priest to come and bless your home or a specific object you may be suspicious of.

Create a line of salt around the parameters of your home.

Avoid witchcraft unless you have an idea of what you are doing.

In my opinion, it is always better to be safe as opposed to sorry when dealing with anything evil. Educate yourself and be careful.
