Pursuing perfection in pimple patches

My title today is rather laughable, but I do implore you to offer me some pity credit considering the alliteration is not too shabby.

If you’re currently asking yourself hasn’t she already written about pimple patches?, the answer to your question is yes, I have. Possibly more than once, to be fair. But, I do believe I have found the best pimple patch product on the market – at least, one that has proven to be the most beneficial for me, personally.

The last patches I used were made by Rael, but I came to the ultimate conclusion that their patches were causing me more harm than good – I actually chatted with someone else who had the same experience. The outcome was that after putting a patch overtop of a pimple, as opposed to remedying the blemish or removing it, the spot became a white bump under the skin that didn’t go away.

The Rael patches aren’t terribly cheap, either, so I decided I was done with patches for a while. Then, after seeing some from a different brand with promising reviews, I decided to jump back on the patch wagon and give them another try.

KEYCONCEPTS pimple patches are made with hydrocolloid and tea tree oil, and you get a pack with 240 patches for $25 bucks. The patches come in a variety of different sizes to best suit your needs, and you just gently press them onto a blemish on your face, with clean hands, and let them do their work for up to eight hours. I wouldn’t say they’re very inconspicuous, but they aren’t overly noticeable, either. I’ve used other patches that were much more prominent.

I typically pop these on overnight, but if I do have a particularly stubborn or nasty zit, I’ll wear them during the daytime, too. If you have acne and are looking to quicken the dissipation process, consider giving these a shot.
