Dry, brittle hair? Read this

I am not certain if everyone can relate to my experience with this, but it seems to me as though the summer months, as wonderful as they are, are an almost guaranteed ticket to the Dry Hair Express. Granted, I do work outdoors, so my hair is exposed to the sun and its rays to a heavier degree than someone who works indoors. But, occupations aside, sun exposure is not great for hair in my own experience, and aside from wearing a ballcap, there isn’t a whole lot I can do aside from using moisturizing products.

I’ve recently switched up my hair product regimen and am currently using a lot of products from MONDAY. I use their moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, as does my husband, and a couple of months ago I picked up their Leave-In Conditioner.

Here’s a description of the product from the brand’s website:

“MONDAY Haircare’s MOISTURE Leave-In Conditioner is a multi-tasker that promotes longer, healthier hair by deeply hydrating, as well as protecting from heat and breakage. With Hyaluronic Acid to optimize moisture levels, plus Shea Butter, Wheat Protein and Jojoba and Almond Oils, hair is left soft, shiny and frizz-free.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT:

  • No sulfates or parabens
  • Certified cruelty-free
  • Dermatologically tested
  • Recyclable bottles
  • Subtle gardenia scent

HERO INGREDIENTS

  • Hydrolyzed Keratin to nourish and protect
  • Wheat Protein to soften and smooth frizz
  • Jojoba and Almond Oil to hydrate and add shine,” the web page explains.

I use this every time I wash and condition my hair, and I’ve noticed a bit of improvement with my split ends. My hair doesn’t seem to be quite as brittle as it was prior to trying this product, and a little goes a long way, so in addition to being effective, it’s also an affordable investment.

If the sun has your hair looking like a tumbleweed, consider trying this product out.
