I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I recently visited Costco with my sister. The trip was originally intended for her; we went to pick up some items she needed for an upcoming catering job. I was tagging along, and so I deemed it only appropriate to venture into the store with her to keep her company.

When one is presented with an opportunity to visit Costco, one does not pass up such opportunity.

Try as you might to prep beforehand with a coherent and regimented list, but a trip to Costco usually entails picking up some items you were not accounting for in the process. So, shockingly, I ended up grabbing a few items for myself, and one of these items is, in my best attempt at a description, cookie sticks.

The brand that makes these bad boys is Lotte/Pepero, and I was able to find the exact flavour pack I grabbed on Amazon if you’re interested in checking them out. The version I purchased consists of eight individual cookie stick flavours in their own separate packaging; two are called white cookie, three are called crunchy, and three are called almond.

Based on the picture on the box, I thought these would involve a pretzel of some sort, but the stick element of the snack is what I can best describe as a breadstick, and a very thin one at that. I realize that might not sound entirely appetizing, but believe me when I tell you the white cookie flavour tastes exactly like a Hershey’s Cookies and Cream chocolate bar, which is one of my personal favourites. I haven’t yet tried the two remaining flavours, but if they’re anything like the white cookie variety, I have no doubt they will be absolutely delicious, too.

If you have a sweet tooth, rest assured these cookie sticks will leave you satisfied.
