I have never, at any point in my life, been someone who identifies as a ‘Lululemon girlie.’ If you haven’t heard that expression before, consider yourself lucky; essentially, the phrase refers to a woman who prefers to dress herself head to toe in Lululemon.
I have no issue whatsoever with Lululemon girlies. The reason I’ve never been one myself is because I’ve never been someone who abides by brand loyalty, aside from when I was in the eighth grade and the majority of my wardrobe was from Abercrombie & Fitch and/or Hollister. Additionally, I’ve never been someone who owns a lot of Lululemon clothing because it is quite expensive, and anything I do own has been a gift to myself or a gift from someone else.
I came to the realization I don’t own a decent pair of running shoes recently. I have my shit pair I wear on the farm, and I have cleats, but I don’t actually have a pair of runners to exercise indoors in the winter months, which is something I’m planning on doing. I figured I would check and see what I could find online, but I’m hesitant to buy shoes without trying them on.
One evening, I was scrolling aimlessly on Instagram when I came across an ad for a pair of Lululemon sneakers I absolutely loved. I figured I would check and see how much they cost just for shits, and I was absolutely delighted to see that they were on sale for $100 less than their usual price.
I ordered a pair of the Chargefeel Mid Women’s Workout Shoe in a size nine and took a bit of a risk in doing so. Sometimes, I fit into a nine, and other times a 9.5; I was ecstatic to learn they fit like a glove when they arrived, and I was further delighted to discover they fit a narrow foot extremely well. Having narrow feet can be a bit of a battle when it comes to finding shoes that fit, so these are an exception.
I love them, and I absolutely recommend them.
