I am not someone who particularly enjoys cleaning. Sure, there are some jobs I prefer over others, but in general, I would rather be spending my time doing something aside from dusting or scrubbing flecks of shit off of my toilet bowl.
I consider myself fortunate in the sense that I do not live in a humongous home. Our home has more than enough room for myself, my husband and our pets, and to be entirely candid, I have no desire to live in a larger home because more space means more cleaning.
One job I am not the biggest fan of is cleaning our tub/shower. Our water softener recently shit the bed, and while it will be fixed soon, in the meantime, the harsh residue left behind in our shower/tub is not the easiest to scrub off. I wanted to see if I could find some sort of product that performed strongly in terms of cleaning but required minimal elbow grease, and I was intrigued, to say the least, when I came across Method’s Daily Shower Cleaner Spray via Amazon.
Here is a description of the spray from Amazon: “Is your shower getting fresh with you? Effortlessly maintain the shine on your shower with plant-based cleaning power. This biodegradable formula dissolves and helps prevent soap scum and keeps doors + tiles gleaming. Just spray after you shower, no squeegee, no rinsing, no effort required, if you don’t count exercising your trigger finger.”
The solution itself is biodegradable and composed of plant-based cleaning ingredients, and I was pleasantly surprised by its affordability.
I’ve used it twice now, and so far, I’m really enjoying it. The idea of spraying it on and walking away may sound alarm bells for some, meaning you may think it won’t be as effective as a cleaner that requires scrubbing. But, it works, believe it or not, and I absolutely recommend it.
