An honest update of “What We Do in the Shadows”

I’ve come to realize that, in the past, I have written a post addressing a movie or television series I’ve recently started, in which I state I will come back in the future and provide you with an update. There have been a number of instances in which I have failed to circle back. If there is anyone out there patiently waiting for me to readdress a specific topic, please let me know in the comments, and, additionally, allow me to sincerely apologize and ask for forgiveness for this blunder.

Perhaps I’m being hopeful in my optimism, seeing as it is quite possible no one has ever thought this, and my readers really do not care to this extent; alas, I am still sorry.

I mentioned a while ago how I recently started watching What We Do in the Shadows, and I quite literally cannot adequately express how absolutely hysterical this show is. I’m on the second season, and there are six total, so I cannot wait to see how much wittier and more demented this show and its humour become as it progresses.

I could not tell you the last time I watched something and genuinely laughed aloud, but this is an experience that tends to occur at least once per episode. The humour is fucking fantastic, and while some may consider it niche, for those of us who get it, this series is a masterpiece.

Blaine has watched pieces of episodes here and there, and he, too, often laughs pretty hard at the ridiculous characters and their vampire lifestyle. Laszlo’s character, in particular, is absolutely ludicrous, and he is one of the funniest components of this entire masterpiece. His pronunciation of words could rival Moira Rose for anyone who is a fan of Schitt’s Creek, and that’s saying something.

I often consider how absurd a conversation between these two characters would be.

Please, do yourself a favour and watch this show. It is absolutely worth it.
