As I sit here and write this blog post being sick for approximately the sixth time this winter, I can understand that you may be a little reluctant to take my advice on how to avoid being sick. I am completely aware of how bad this post sounds.
But, I do have some tips to offer that my family swears by to combat and avoid sickness, so at least take their word for it over mine.
(1) Drink lemon water. Lemons have so many amazing health benefits, ranging from acne fighting properties to cleansing out the body, so it wouldn’t hurt to pour some lemon juice in your water in sip away. Lemons are like a natural immunity booster.
(2) Take oregano oil. I won’t sugar coat this one, because yes, oregano oil tastes as awful as it sounds, but if my dad feels a cold coming on, he takes a few tablespoons of this and almost always is feeling healthy again the next day. He swears by this stuff, so it’s worth checking out.
(3) Use a diffuser when you sleep. Diffusers, when used with essential oils, can do wonders for overall health. Try using eucalyptus oil specifically when you’re sick. Just let your diffuser run over night and wake up feeling like a brand new person.
