Product Review: OGX Gravity Defying and Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner

My father has always had dry, brittle hair. It seems as though there is no hair product or line that can rejuvenate his scalp, whether such products be from the drugstore or a salon. My sister went on the hunt to find him a shampoo and conditioner that would improve his hair situation, and it is arguable that what she discovered may become my new go-to hair products since I have experimented with what she purchased.

My sister picked up the OGX Gravity Defying and Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner, and of course I had to give it a try. I am always curious when I discover new hair products in our shower, and this particular instance failed to be an exception. I was using the Deep Repair Aloe Vera and Jasmine shampoo and conditioner by Marc Anthony, and while it did wonders for my hair, it did not do wonders for my skin. I found over time that using the Marc Anthony products caused me to breakout all along my hairline, and such breakouts are likely a result of my intolerance to Aloe Vera. So, I figured I had nothing to lose with the OXG products intended for my dad, and I am thoroughly pleased with the results.

The OGX Gravity Defying and Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner is infused with cloudberry oil, and while I have no clue what the hell that is, it smells divine. It is uber hydrating and smoothing, and I definitely noticed an improvement in regards to my split ends when I tried it out. OGX products are all free of sulfates, and the line furthermore refrains from testing on animals. It’s basically a win-win situation.

I have never been disappointed with an OGX product, and if you’re looking for something new to breathe some life into your hair, I highly recommend giving this brand a try.
