Product Review: Benefit’s ka-BROW! Cream-Gel Eyebrow Colour

Having a sister who coincidentally happens to be a makeup expert certainly has it perks. Not only has my sister taught me everything I know about makeup products and application, but she furthermore gives me products she no longer uses or has duplicates of. One of the more recent freebies I received from her is the Benefit ka-BROW! Cream-Gel Eyebrow Colour, and I wanted to create a review about this product because I am thoroughly impressed with how it applies and performs.

Prior to receiving this product from my sister, I was using the a Marcelle dual-ended eyebrow product. It consists of an eyebrow pencil on one end and a spoolie on the other, and while the product itself is decent in application, my eyebrows certainly were not reaching their full potential.

Enter the ka-BROW!: I can say with confidence I will never go back to a pencil again when it comes to my eyebrows. This product comes in a creamy consistency and is similar to a pomade, meaning application is precise and consistent. The formula is waterproof and smudge-proof and retails from Sephora for $30.00. The packaging is unique and a small amount of product goes a very long way, therefore $30.00 is not too pricey, in my opinion.

The only downfall in regards to this product is the brush it comes with. The brush is honestly useless for me personally as it is quite stiff and difficult to apply product with, so I use my own Sephora eyebrows brush to apply the product. You can purchase an eyebrow brush from most drugstores for a reasonable price, so don’t stress too much about the crappy brush that comes with the ka-BROW!.

I would definitely recommend this product to any person who is serious about filling in their eyebrows. If I can use it efficiently, anyone can.
