This past Wednesday my Public Relations class and I were fortunate enough to travel to Toronto to visit the Google location in the city. My professor for my Social Media Strategies arranged the trip, and it was incredibly interesting and further beneficial.
The Google Headquarters in Toronto is absolutely fantastic. The facility is so diverse in regard to its decor and layout, and each floor is accented with personalized touches to ensure no two floors are repetitive. The staff that lead our tour were so informative, pleasant and professional, and I can say with complete honesty that this experience is one I will not forget.
Our instructor informed us that it is difficult to secure a tour of the Google Headquarters Toronto location, therefore our class is very fortunate to have been able to visit. I would love to visit again someday, but if this is not possible, I can be grateful to have visited the facility once already.
I further found the experience to be so enjoyable because of my classmates. I have met a phenomenal group of individuals this year at Niagara College through the Public Relations program, and being able to experience such a rare opportunity with some of my closest friends was wonderful. There is no other group of individuals I would prefer to experience such a cool opportunity with.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Google Headquarters in Toronto, and I think it would be a fantastic place to work. It is an organization filled with potential, growth, and inspiration, and if you or anyone you know is interested in the prospect of working for Google, I recommend researching how to contact one of their employees. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable, and if I had the opportunity to visit again, I would in a heartbeat.
