Product review: North American Hemp Co. Relax and Soak Moisturizing Body Wash Cream

I’m a big fan of a luxurious body wash, but I’m not exactly willing to spend big bucks to have some myself. So, when I had a shower at home a few weeks ago and joyfully discovered a fancy new addition to my family’s selection of body washes, you best believe I was all over it.

The body wash I’m referencing is the North American Hemp Co. Relax and Soak Moisturizing Body Wash Cream. An 11.56 fluid ounce bottle retails for $9.99, which is super reasonable, and while I’m not sure where you can purchase these products in-store, you can browse all of the North American Hemp Co.’s products on their website, which I linked above.

According to the website, this product consists of a “creamy moisturizing blend of hemp seed oil, green tea and chamomile extracts that soothes your skin and creates a sense of calm.” This particular product is all natural, free of sulphates, parabens and DEA, is cruelty-free and vegan, and contains certified organic hemp seed oil.

What I really like about this product is how damn creamy it is, and further, how little you need to get a great lather going. I use about a dime-sized amount which is more than enough to wash my body from head to toe, and it smells divine. It doesn’t irritate my skin, it makes my skin feel incredibly soft, and it leaves the slightest scent on the skin afterwards which keeps you refreshed until the next time you take a shower.

Prior to using this body wash, I hadn’t heard about the North American Hemp Co., but they have a huge array of different products which can also be viewed on their website, including face, body and hair treatments. Perhaps they carry something that works for you, too. Check ’em out!
