There are a few items in the fashion industry that have been kicking around for quite a while now, with no intentions of disappearing anytime soon. Some examples, off the top of my head, include Crocs, Birkenstock sandals, and Lululemon athletic pants. These fashion staples are seemingly timeless in regards to their long-standing presence in the fashion world, and chances are you yourself or someone you know owns at least one of these items.
Another item that can be used as an example in this scenario is TNA’s (Aritzia) parkas. I can recall when these things literally exploded into the women’s fashion realm back when I was in my early high school years, and trust me when I say these puppies are still prominent among us ladies who live in chilly climates.
I purchased my first TNA parka back in grade nine (I think), and I still have it. It still fits, and while it’s a wee bit snug considering I’ve had it for about 12 years now, the thing is in pretty damn good shape despite how long I’ve had it. Last Winter, the zipper shit the bed, and because having the zipper replaced would cost me about half of what the jacket did back when I purchased it, I figured it might be time to treat myself to a new one.
I just recently started looking at TNA’s parkas within the past few weeks as I plan to grab another one before the Canadian cold gets here. I have never owned a winter jacket as warm, comfortable, and durable as TNA’s, and while the price may seem a bit steep (they retail, on average, between $250 and $400), trust me when I say they are an investment and they really are worth the money.
If you’re on the fence about getting one of these babies for yourself, allow this blog post to be a sign to do so.
