Kip Moore, for anyone who may be unfamiliar with the name, is an American country singer and songwriter. If you haven’t heard of him, don’t stress too much; from my own observations, I would wager that, sadly, a lot of folks don’t know about Kip, and the reason I use the term sadly is that this guy’s talent is out of this world.
I believe, from the best of my memory, that the first song I ever heard by Mr. Moore was arguably his most famous – Something ‘Bout a Truck. I’m willing to bet I just about wore through my iPod library listening to this song on repeat when it first debuted, and I imagine a lot of folks would say the same. The song is a classic.
While I do still enjoy and listen to this particular song to this day, I find it a little disheartening that so many folks don’t know this guy from Adam aside from his biggest single. Kip Moore, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated artists in the music world, specifically in the country genre, and his music is absolutely incredible.
Kip’s voice is unique in the sense it offers the typical country singer’s twang, but it has a lovely roughness to it. Simply put, it’s fucking sexy, and the guy certainly isn’t hard on the eyes, for that matter.
Kip is a country artist, but a lot of his music has rock elements to it, which is something I can always appreciate. He’s also an incredible guitarist, and if you ever have the opportunity to see him live, I highly recommend attending; he sounds even better live than he does on record.
