I’ve mentioned in a few previous posts that the supernatural realm is insanely interesting to me. Terrifying, but interesting. My interest in all things paranormal and/or supernatural was piqued a few years back when I started reading up on the topic, and ever since, I’ve been hooked. I’ve done a fair bit of reading on the matter and have watched a handful of documentaries, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
It is one thing to be intrigued by the supernatural, but it is another to respect it, and respect for this world is tremendous. As much as I am fascinated by the topic, I know where my boundaries and limits lie, and there are numerous things I wouldn’t be caught doing in this lifetime that I believe are not only disrespectful towards supernatural and paranormal entities, but further are irresponsible and dangerous.
One prime example of something I will never dabble in is ouija boards. These things act as a means to communicate with entities that are not of this world, and horrific situations have spurred form use of an ouija board. A lot of folks will buy them in an attempt to converse with lost loved ones, however, what a lot of folks fail to realize is that not only can you permit entities entry into our world using these things, but furthermore, while you might think you’re talking to the ghost of a loved one, there is a good chance it isn’t them and is, instead, a demonic entity. Just a heads up.
I’ve had a few paranormal/supernatural experiences myself, as have a lot of people. I cannot comprehend how so many people continue to deny the existence of the supernatural world, but I certainly think it exists. Have respect for it and avoid being ignorant.
