Move over, Keurig: This should be your next coffee maker

As I explained in yesterday’s post, Keurig and I share a long, complicated history. I’ve been through a few, to say the least, and after the last one crashed and burned, I knew it was time to move on from Keurig and spread my wings in the coffee maker realm.

My sister, bless her, was the one who found my coffee maker replacement, and I am so pleased she did. She steered me in the direction of the Cuisinart Coffee Centre Two-in-One Coffee Maker, and I haven’t looked back since.

I was sincerely hoping to find a machine that could still use Keurig pods, because I had quite a collection holed up at home when my last Keurig shit the bed. This unit from Cuisinart does and can use Keurig pods, and believe me when I tell you that I’ve never had a cup of coffee from a Keurig pod taste better than what this Cuisinart machine did with the pod. My God, I am not lying when I say that this new machine is likely brewing these pods the way they were always intended to be brewed, as opposed to within the wildly unreliable constructs of an actual Keurig.

Check out all of the features of this coffee maker, copied and pasted from the Cuisinart website:
