I occasionally find myself perusing through random Amazon items when I’m high, as reluctant as I am to admit it. I have absolutely no inclination as to why this is a thing, but when I’m high, I enjoy online shopping, and once or twice I may or may not have ordered items that are entirely unnecessary, for example, a slieu of candles from Charmed Aroma a few years back.
Thankfully, I’ve been able to morph my weed-riddled shopping habits to be a bit more useful as of late, and my most recent marijuana purchase includes an item I have never heard of, but am amazed by its ingenuity.
We have an air purifier in our bedroom, but it hasn’t been running as of late because I need to replace the filter. While on Amazon a couple of nights ago, I came across something termed ceiling fan filters, and because the concept sounds so bizarre, I had to check it out.
I ordered the Barnakl Ceiling Fan Filters in the Activated Coconut Shell Carbon Filter version for $26, and I am gobsmacked by how neat these little bad boys are. Basically, they’re a black, textured strip, and three come in a pack; they have an adhesive padding that you peel a film off of to reveal, and then you stick them on top of the blades of your ceiling fan(s) in your home. Then, when the fan is turning and running, these things activate, turning into mini air purifiers as they take a ride on the fan.
Not only are these far cheaper than an actual air purifier, but they don’t take up any space, which is huge for anyone who doesn’t have much to spare. I just stuck them to our fan, but I am excited to report back in a bit to inform all of you how well they perform.
