LUSH: Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub

For Christmas, I received the LUSH Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub. I am not one to make frequent use of any type of facial scrub, although I probably could, so after receiving one for a gift, I decided I would stick with it and use it weekly.

According to its description on, this mask refreshes, exfoliates, hydrates and cleanses. It is rich in minerals, coarse sea salt, seaweed absolute, coconut oil and avocado butter. It further contains lime oil and vodka to brighten and tone the skin.

To use, apply the scrub to damp skin and massage gently. Rinse off and pat dry to reveal renewed and exfoliated skin.
I have always been a fan of LUSH products, and this scrub does not disappoint. It provides a thorough exfoliation without being too harsh on the skin, and it smells fantastic. A little goes a long way, so it’s certainly worth the money. A 120g container retails for $22, and it should last you for a quite a while if you use it accordingly.
LUSH is an incredibly ethical company. They refuse to test their products on animals, stating the following on their website:

“Fighting animal testing should be more than a slogan; it needs to be a genuine practice.

We’ve been fighting against animal testing for decades and believe in only buying ingredients from companies that do not commission tests on animals. We only test our products on human volunteers, and have turned our belief into a company-wide policy.”

They are dedicated to packing their products using as little material as possible, all of their products are 100% vegetarian, and they commit themselves to using the purest and most natural form of ingredients in their products as possible.

If you have yet to try one of LUSH’s products, consider their Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub.
