Here’s how to get your hair to grow faster

We’ve all been there. We decide we are due for a haircut, end up getting more taken off than we truly anticipated, and are left feeling a little regretful and pondering how to get our hair to grow back in quickly.

I’ve read a lot of different information regarding how to give hair growth a boost, and while I’ve tried a few suggested tactics, I personally haven’t found any to be effective.

I did a little bit of research to see if I could unearth some ways to grow hair quicker that have been proven, and the following information comes from lifehack.org. Take a look.

“On average, everyone grows about a half an inch of hair every month. Although genetic factors can contribute to individual differences, it is not as significant as we think. There is no proven scientific formula to accelerate or stimulate hair growth … Here (are) 10 suggestions to treat your hair in the proper way and get the essential nutrients for healthy hair growth.

  • “Massage your scalp
  • “Trim your ends regularly
  • “Use conditioner more often than shampoo
  • “Apply (an) egg mask treatment at least once a month
  • “Don’t put your hair in a bun too often
  • “Take Omega-3 Fatty Acids
  • “Get more Protein
  • “Boost Vitamins A & C intake
  • “Get some Biotin
  • “Drink more water,” the website states.

I encourage you to take a look at this page from lifehack.org as the site goes into detail about the points listed above and explains how these strategies can help to stimulate hair growth.

I believe it is important for us to recognize that while there isn’t a guaranteed means to get hair to grow faster, there are many things we can do in an attempt to encourage hair to grow. Rather than wasting money on products that supposedly claim to prompt hair growth, consider giving these tips a try and see if any of them make a difference for you.
