Fall has certainly made its presence known here in Ontario as of late. Once the official first day of Autumn arrived, the temperature dropped dramatically, and it hasn’t really come back up into what one may consider warm temperatures.
Now that fall is upon us and winter is coming (said in John Snow’s voice), there is a strong probability that a lot of us will encounter dry skin and hair as the warmth dissipates. Despite this inevitable looming cold weather, I am pleased to report that I recently tried a hair conditioner that I believe will work wonders in terms of keeping my dry ass hair hydrated this winter.
I’ve been using Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner for years now, and as much as I love the stuff, I don’t necessarily love how costly it is, especially when you’re using it long-term. I did a little bit of research to see if I could find a more affordable shampoo and conditioner that offers the same benefits as Moroccan Oil products, but at a cheaper price, and one brand in particular kept popping up during my Google search. I decided I would give it a try, and I am very pleased I did.
Maui Moisture carries a shit load of different shampoos and conditioners, but the one I tried my luck with is Revive and Hydrate + Shea Butter, specifically their conditioner because I’m still waiting on the shampoo.
The reason I ordered this stuff, aside from its stellar reviews, is because it is free of parabens and sulfates, two things you want to steer well clear of when it comes to hair products as they damage your hair. I did read one review claiming this conditioner is a bit on the heavy side, which it is, but it’s moisturizing as hell, so I don’t mind. My hair looks, feels and smells quite nice after using it, and seeing as it is a third of the cost of the products I was using before, this one may be a keeper.
I have extremely dry hair and have been searching for something reasonably priced. Im so glad you mentioned this stuff. I already added it to my Walmart cart and it should be here soon. Can’t wait to try it. šš oh and the price is very affordable which is a big plus. š
