I’m not someone who uses face masks to the extent I arguably should. Masks are great for your skin for a wide variety of reasons, and different masks offer different benefits. Generally speaking, any time I do happen to make use of a face mask, it’s for my acne, acne scars and pigmentation, so I can’t really speak to masks that don’t target acne-related issues.
I came to the realization a little while ago that I should probably enhance my face mask game, and so I went on the hunt to determine which one to try out. I did a bit of research via Google, and one mask that continually came up was the Korean Skin Care Detox Face Mask – Body Mud Mask – with Avocado & Superfoods by the Plantifique Store on Amazon. Naturally, I hopped over to Amazon to read up on this mask.
This product has incredible ratings, which is one of the reasons I decided to give it a try, and contains a combination of seven superfoods – calendula, aloe vera, tea tree, spirulina, blueberry, avocado and spinach. It’s paraben-free, which is always appreciated, and it is currently on sale for $25, which is reasonable for a face mask and the amount you receive in a jar. It also comes with a convenient applicator brush so you don’t end up looking like Shrek in the process of applying it.
The texture is nice and smooth, and it really doesn’t have any kind of scent. It’s easy to apply and remove, and the instructions advise to leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. I’ve also been using it as a spot treatment and am applying it directly to problematic zits before I go to bed.
I’ve used this mask a handful of times so far, and I am liking it. I haven’t noticed a dramatic change in my skin, but I’m hoping with long-term use I might.
