I have expressed my love for Morroccanoil hair products a few times already here on my blog, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I have yet to try a product made by this brand that is anything short of great, and it treats my hair rather nicely, if I may say so.
I’ve been using Morroccanoil hydrating shampoo and conditioner for a hot minute now, but in terms of leave-in hair products, I’ve been working on emptying a bottle of Aveda hair oil I’ve quite literally had for probably ten years.
I know that sounds ludicrous, but I may have forgotten about it and then discovered it once again when I was packing up my shit to move with Blaine. We took a solid hiatus, but we crossed paths once more and I am pleased to report I have finally finished said hair oil.
The Aveda hair oil was good, don’t get me wrong, but their products are insanely expensive. Morroccanoil products aren’t exactly cheap, but they’re typically a bit less than Aveda products, and personally, Aveda doesn’t do shit for my hair.
I’ve known about Moroccanoil Treatment oil for quite some time, so I finally did myself a favour and grabbed some to try. I got mine from Amazon, but you can find Moroccanoil products in quite a few hair salons, and you can also order directly from their website. It’s packed full of Argan oil and Linseed extract, and let me tell you, this stuff is like liquid gold. A little goes a very long way, so there is a chance I’ll be working on this bottle for another ten years, but from roots to ends, this stuff does what hair oil was intended to do.
If you’re new to using this product, less is more; you don’t want to look like you climbed out of a sardine can.
