A few months ago, while scrolling aimlessly through my Facebook feed, I stumbled upon a post that a gal I went through high school made. She had posted a photo with a caption detailing how she completed a brief survey and was selected to win a 100-piece emergency kit, and encouraged her Facebook friends to do the same; I never win anything but figured it was a beneficial survey to complete just in case, and lo and behold, I received a phone call a couple of days ago informing me my name was selected to receive the next kit.
On Friday evening, a gentleman from Premium Health and Safety, based in Stoney Creek, Ontario, paid Blaine and me a visit to deliver the kit I won and to share some valuable safety information with us. I wasn’t entirely sure of what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to actually learn some extremely valuable information in the context of emergency preparedness and what each home should invest in and possess.
