Everyone and their mother seems to be talking about beef tallow as of late, and for good reason; it has exploded into the beauty realm with an undeniable presence, arguably a result of the incredible benefits it offers to those who make use of it.

I try my best to shop and support local whenever I can. I’ve been on the fence about trying beef tallow for my face because I was worried it would worsen my current acne situation, but I decided to finally bite the bullet and grab some from a local company founded by, believe it or not, two gals I’ve known for most of my life that are borderline neighbours to me.

I purchased the Tallow Twins For the Face moisturizer roughly two weeks ago, and I haven’t stopped using it since. Check out a product description from their website:

The consistency of this product is thick and viscous, and a little goes a loooooong way. I apply it each morning and evening after I’ve cleaned my face, and I like to rub any excess into my hands and cuticles because it is so nourishing.

This product leaves absolutely no greasy residue and it wears beautifully underneath makeup. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to anyone debating incorporating beef tallow into their skincare routine.
