It’s no secret that I become borderline feral when it comes to pickles. My preference is dill, and I’m not a huge fan of sweet ones – in my opinion, pickles are meant to be dilly. Not sugary.
Anytime I spot something new and exciting in the realm of pickles, I am more than willing to try it. Most recently, however, I can thank my mom and sister for keeping an eye out for pickle paraphernalia on my behalf when they visited Costco a few days ago; they were kind enough to pick me up some Dill Pickle Aioli by Muskoka Brand Gourmet.
I have seen this product online here and there, and I knew I wanted to try it out. I haven’t been to Costco in quite a while, though, so I was very grateful my mom and sister picked up a bottle for me to try.
Here is a description of the product from Muskoka Brand Gourmet’s website: “Discover a delicious dill pickle aioli that pairs perfectly with many foods such as French fries, vegetables, pizza, salads, sandwiches and fish. This easy-to-use dip is a great addition to all your meals! Ingredients: Vegetable oil, Water, Garlic, Dill weed, Onion, Salt, Lemon juice, Vinegar, Natural dill pickle extract, Sugar, Xanthan gum, Citric Acid, Sodium benzoate. Shake well before use. Refrigerate after opening for up to 1 year,” the web page, linked above, explains.
So far, I’ve only had the privilege of trying this stuff on a chicken burger, but going by how positively fucking delicious it tasted on that, I have no doubt I’ll be finding all sorts of foods to top with this glorious sauce. The flavour is insane and is arguably one of the best-tasting dill pickle foods I have had in a long while.
If you’re a pickle fanatic, you need to try this stuff.
