MONDAY Hair care: save your money

I, much like most women, I would imagine, have dabbled in a variety of hair products over the years, and I have yet to find one I can say I truly and undoubtedly love, aside from Moroccanoil’s Treatment Hair Oil. I’ve been using said hair oil for probably at least 15 years, and it is one I will remain loyal to for the rest of my life, I suspect.

When Blaine and I got married and moved into our home, there were a number of items we required to stock our home with, and one of them was toiletries. I had heard good things about a hair care brand called MONDAY, and so I decided to start using their shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner because they advertise themselves as a ‘clean’ company, meaning their products don’t contain harsh additives such as parabens, phthalates, etc.

My husband and I have been using MONDAY products for a couple of years now, and while I was suspicious that perhaps the products weren’t doing for us what I hoped they would, I decided to ride it out and hopefully recognize some improvements in a little more time.

A few days ago, I came across a Reel on Instagram in which a hair professional was ranking popular hair care brands. MONDAY products were mentioned, and the rating provided for them was not a good one. The professional in the video claimed that MONDAY hair products are essentially mostly composed of water and will do nothing more than cause your hair to appear dull and heavy.

I haven’t been thrilled with the appearance of my hair while using MONDAY products, and upon switching to a different brand, I couldn’t believe the difference I noticed in my hair texture after one wash. Take it from me and save your money, because MONDAY hair products are not what they’re chalked up to be.
