Have you been to Kai Cafe?

If you happen to reside within Brant or Norfolk County, here in Ontario, Canada, there is a strong probability that you have heard of Kai Cafe. Located at Sam’s Place Farm Market in Scotland, Ontario, Kai Cafe is serving up Hawaiian-inspired coffee and other drinks and goodies, and if you haven’t yet been, consider this your sign to visit.

It took me long enough to venture out there and try it for myself, but I am very glad I finally did. We held our latest book club meeting there, and it’s a lovely spot; there are plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas for shade, along with a playground and a sandbox to keep the kiddos occupied.

I ordered a cold brew coffee for myself, which was excellent, and I figured I would grab some goodies for my family while I was there. I got an iced Hawaiian latte for my dad, a vanilla almond tea for my mom, and a lemonade refresher for my sister. All of my family, upon sampling their beverages, said they were excellent, and I will absolutely be going back again soon to try more.

Blaine doesn’t drink coffee or tea, in case you’re questioning why I left him out in my drink haul.

Kai Cafe offers a multitude of different beverages, as well as some baked goodies and even a couple of bowls. There is something available for everyone, and the prices are fantastic; I purchased four 12-oz beverages for twenty bucks, and you sure as shit can’t beat the prices when compared to an establishment like Starbucks.

I have a personal connection to the sister of the owner of Kai Cafe, so it feels great to give back to the community and support a local, small business while simultaneously sipping on some truly phenomenal coffee. If you haven’t been, consider granting Kai Cafe a visit – I highly doubt you will leave feeling disappointed.
