In mine and Blaine’s home, the only lights in existence are pot lights and maybe one lamp, if that. We opted for pot lights to save space, as opposed to installing ceiling fixtures, and because these pot lights are on separate switches throughout the majority of our home, they’re easy to control because we can have, for example, one strip out of three illuminated to create some ambience.
I’ve been considering getting some sort of night light to install in our bathroom so when we need to use it in the middle of the night, we aren’t completely blinded. I figured I would see what I could find via Amazon, and the GE 44737 Vintage LED Night Light is absolutely perfect.
I actually found these guys after searching for a rustic night light, as ridiculous as that sounds, but since we live in an actual farmhouse and not a Pinterest version of one, I deemed it appropriate.
These lights retail for $30, and there are two. They plug into any outlet and turn on once they have recognized darkness. So, as great as they are as a night light, they would also work beautifully in a walk-in closet or something along those lines.
I absolutely love these lights. This might sound absurd, but they’re quite beautiful. Inside the bulb are air bubbles to give it some texture, and the bracket surrounding the bulb is sturdy and sharp to look at. If you’re on the hunt for an aesthetically pleasing night light, these ones might be precisely what you’re looking for. I would absolutely buy them again in a heartbeat.
