The Many Uses of Avocado

I would argue that it would be challenging to encounter an individual who dislikes avocado. Not impossible, but certainly difficult.

Avocado is such an incredibly versatile fruit and can be added to a multitude of dishes to add an elevated boost of flavour and furthermore texture. Its creamy consistency tastes superb on bread, many types of sandwiches, crackers and even certain proteins. It can be used in unique ways in terms of cooking, some example include making an avocado mayonnaise, combining it with fruits to make smoothies or puddings, adding it to pizza, grilling it, stuffing it, incorporating it into eggs and even using it in desserts. Seriously, just google avocado recipes – I doubt you will be disappointed.

Aside from being used in food, avocado is a beneficial ingredient in both face and hair masks. A suggested recipe for an avocado face mask involves combining half an avocado, one egg, one tablespoon of plain yogurt, one teaspoon of baking soda, and if desired a tablespoon of coconut oil for added moisture. Simply apply the mixture to the skin and let sit for ten minutes before washing it off. A suggested recipe for a hair mask involves combining one avocado, two tablespoons of honey, two tablespoons of olive oil and several drops of any type of essential oil. The instructions for the hair mask are similar to that of the face mask – let sit and then rinse. Recipes for avocado hair and face masks are easy to discover via Google, and you can alter them to your preference.

Avocados are furthermore incredibly beneficial for overall health. They can aid in improving vision, reducing the risk of developing Osteoporoses, improve heart health, boost digestive functions and are a natural antioxidant.
