Looking for an iron supplement? Read this

Being low in iron is something that a heck of a lot of us are all too familiar with. I couldn’t count the number of folks I know who use daily iron supplements, myself included, and I’m willing to bet there are a lot more people I know using this form of supplement than I’m aware of.

I’ve been low in iron for quite a few years now. I’ve tried a few different supplements, although none of them really gave me what I needed in terms of what an iron supplement should provide. My Aunt recommended one in particular that I’ve been using for a little while now, and because it’s such a great one, I wanted to tell all of you about it and how to go about getting your hands on it.

The Vital Proteins Pasture-raised, Grass-fed Beef Liver Capsules are available via Amazon, and one bottle containing 120 capsules retails for just under $50.

This may seem like a high price compared to other generic iron supplements, but this one costs more for a reason. Check out the product description from Amazon:

  • “Sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised Bovine hides to ensure a natural, high quality, and sustainable source of this ancient nutrient
  • “Easily digested and soluble in cold or hot liquids, to help support healthy hair, skin, nails, bone and joint health
  • “Vital Proteins pasture-raised, grass-fed beef liver capsules”

This stuff is the real deal, and it blows just about any other form of an iron supplement right out of the water. In addition to providing a healthy dose of iron, these capsules contain a whole bunch of other important vitamins and minerals, which is arguably why they cost more than your average iron pill.

If you have low iron, I can’t recommend this product enough. It is by far the best I’ve used.
