My family and I reside in Brant County, and where we are situated is a couple of kilometres away from Six Nations of the Grand River, a First Nations Reserve.
We’re about ten minutes out from the West end of Brantford, which is where my family and I typically venture whenever we need groceries. I certainly can’t complain about the commute, but you can bet your ass I was delighted when I heard a grocery store was opening on Six Nations, which is even closer to where we are.
Townline Variety Gas & Groceries – Clover Farm has been open for a few months now, and I’ve made several trips there to grab some groceries. The address for this place is 7297 Indian Line Rd, Brant, ON N0E, Canada, Waterford, ON, Canada, Ontario, and I highly encourage you to make a trip there and check out what they have if you haven’t already.
I was pleasantly surprised with the selection and variety of items stocked in the grocery component of this location, and the store itself is massive, rather nice, and incredibly clean and well-lit.
Saying these things makes me realize I am slowly but inevitably turning into my mother.
My mom’s influence aside, this place is absolutely worth visiting. They carry just about everything a typical grocery chain would with the odd exception, but there have only been two instances in which I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for.
Within the grocery store is a coffee bar equipped with sandwiches and other pastries, a hot-food bar with ready-made options to take home and others you can order on the spot, as well as an entire tobacco department. I’ve never been able to get my darts and food in the same spot, but I can certainly appreciate the convenience.
They have a decent-sized produce section as well as a meat department with all sorts of local cuts.
Do yourself a favour and visit Townline Variety Gas & Groceries – Clover Farm. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
