As I mentioned in yesterday’s post about red light therapy, today’s will be a continuation of a discussion on the topic. In yesterday’s post, I provided you with some generic information about red light therapy and what its intended use is; the majority of research done in the red light therapy realm has focused on the benefits red light therapy offers skin, but I am happy to report that it can benefit a whole lot of other things pertaining to the body, as I have discovered via my own personal experience.
I have Lyme disease and I frequently use an infrared sauna. The particular unit I use is made by Therasage, one of the leading names in the Lyme disease treatment game. The founders of the company created Therasage in an attempt to discover different ways in which they could alleviate their daughter’s symptoms of Lyme disease, and in addition to infrared saunas, they manufacture a plethora of other devices, too, including red light therapy devices.
Check out this excerpt from the Therasage website regarding red light therapy:
“Therasage Prides itself on being the ‘World’s Leader’ on developing cutting edge Infrared devices and health science applications to achieve optimal health outcomes. Thera Tri-Lite is a Therasage exclusive Polychromatic Light Emitting Diode (LED) that succinctly generates important light frequencies, in the red light and near infrared frequency range, in a light weight, comfortable to use format, soft and flexible and perfect for use directly on your body. TheraTri-Lite offers numerous benefits; including collagen production, wrinkle reduction, brain health, and enhanced energy, Mitochondrial function, cell health and energy, improved microcirculation and blood oxygenation, activating the natural production of Nitric Oxide, and cellular detoxification, and anti-aging benefits!”
If today’s and yesterday’s posts haven’t been enough to sway you toward considering exploring red light therapy and all of the goodness it offers, I do encourage you to do some research yourself.
