Allow me to begin this post by asserting that I am not a medical professional whatsoever. I’m not here to tell anyone what to do with their own body and/or health, and I certainly don’t wish to share false information with anyone on the matter of health, seeing as it is a rather significant concept that is relevant to all of us.
I am here, however, to talk about oregano oil and the wonder it can do to fend off cold and flu bugs, and this is based on my own experiences, as well as my family’s.
Quite a few years ago now, my mom was told that oregano oil is a powerhouse in terms of warding off sickness and bugs. She decided to get herself a bottle, which, by the way, can be purchased at most health food stores, and kept it in our house on standby until someone required use of it.
If my memory serves me correctly, I believe it was my dad who first made use of oregano oil in our family. He felt a cold coming on and decided to put a healthy dose in some water, and upon slinging it back like a shot (it tastes absolutely horrific) for a few days, he no longer felt ill. Ever since, our family has placed a solid amount of trust in this stuff, and all of us reach for the bottle whenever we feel some sort of cold attempting to make its presence known in our system.
If you research oregano oil and what it can do to help alleviate cold and flu symptoms, you will find some information on the topic, but not a whole lot. Feel free to try it yourself, as long as it is safe, and see if it works as well for you as it does for me and my family.
