This year’s wellness trends

Health and wellness seem to be on everyone’s mind at the beginning of each new year, likely because new year’s resolutions are often affiliated with healthy living. But, as the month’s progress and the year moves forward, many of us, both intentionally and unintentionally, allow our resolutions to slip from our focus and permanently move to the back burner in our minds.

A healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated, though. In fact, The Top 10 Health & Wellness Trends of 2019, an article originally published on Made By Hemp ‘s website, provides some recommendations pertaining to how to make 2019 your healthiest yet (without making things complicated).

I encourage you to look at the article yourself, but some of the trends expected to surface this year in terms of health and wellness include Ayurveda, a medical system that encourages the use of plants and animal products to benefit both the body and mind; upping the amount you sleep; exercising use of CBD oil; maintaining mental health; reducing our carbon footprint; using hemp; and promoting body positivity.

I would love to say that my physical and mental health are in tip-top condition, but I’m human, and things don’t always work out so perfectly. Life gets busy, we get distracted, and often times, our health takes the brunt of our stress.

Prioritizing mental and physical wellness, though, is one of the most advantageous things you can do for yourself. We only get one body and one brain in our lives, so it would be wise to keep them in good shape, just as we do our vehicles, right?

Check out the article I linked above from the Made By Hemp website to see how you can keep up to speed with 2019’s predicted wellness trends – perhaps you’re already practicing some of the article’s recommendations, and if not, maybe this year is your year to invest in your health.
