Seven ways to boost your productivity

Productivity is something that is of extreme value to most of us, but determining how to enhance the ways in which we are productive can be challenging.

Luckily, and article originally published on Made By Hemp’s website offers seven ways to better our productivity, and the strategies the article offers are simple and easily adaptable. I’ve pulled a couple of the articles tips to discuss in this post, but I encourage you to reference the original article, too.

One way to nudge productivity tendencies into high gear is to start the day with a proper breakfast. You’ve arguably heard this before, but starting off the day with a wholesome meals can work wonders for the rest of the day. Try and build a meal that incorporates all essential food groups and is rich with nutrients to ensure you’re off to a great start.

Taking breaks is another option for those of us looking to better our productivity. Designating breaks throughout the day is an effective way to give your brain a break, and further relax. Plugging away without taking breaks may seem more efficient on a surface level, but this can actually tire the brain out and make it more difficult to complete tasks.

Avoid multitasking if possible. As tempting as multi tasking may seem in the productivity spectrum, it can actually lower our productivity by leading to distraction. Perform tasks one by one to ensure they’re completed to the best of your ability.

Exercise is also important in terms of boosting productivity. Try to make time in your day to go for a brisk walk to get your heart rate up, and further to burn away some stress and frustration.

Bettering productivity doesn’t have to be a tremendous effort. With a few small changes here and there, you’ll be well on your way to living your most productive life yet.
