Words of wisdom from Morgan Harper Nichols

I made mention of Morgan Harper Nichols, a wonderfully talented woman, not too long ago in a post. Because she is a poetic genius, I thought I would compose another post with some more of her work. Depending on the reception I get from these posts, this could become a regular occurrence, so let me know what your thoughts are about this blogging style.

Here are some more quotes from Morgan Harper Nichols that are as beautiful as they are relatable:

“You might have to carry on without the answers you thought you would need, but you will still be led right where you need to be.

“You will not miss out on what was meant for you, no matter who carries on without you.

“Trust: the future can be beautiful even if it looks different than what you were expecting.

“Be still: trust that in the waiting more will be revealed.

“I hope that if you have to say goodbye, you can trust that in time, you will be fine. You can trust that years down the line, life will be different and still beautiful.

“You may not be able to be everything to everyone, but you can still be everything you were meant to be by choosing to be present and ready to grow at every place on the journey.

“Years from now, you won’t remember every conversation, every thought or everything you ever accomplished, but I hope you remember the times you bravely chose to love. I hope you remember that when times were hard, you found courage to not give up.

“Come and enter into the mystery. Be surprised by the hope you find.

“Even when the sun sets on the statues of your fallen dreams, you are free to go dancing in the shadows.

“You are free to let go and just be, no matter who you think will be watching.”
