Feeling parched? Try this for a hydration boost

I drink a borderline inconceivable amount of water in a day, and if you don’t believe me when I tell you how much, I won’t be disheartened as most people, including my former doctor, don’t. I drink two to four gallons of water a day. How do I know this? My water bottle holds one gallon of water, so, upon refilling it up to four times in a given day, this, in combination with deductive reasoning, leads me to believe I drink up to four gallons a day.

I realize that for people who struggle to drink a couple of glasses of water in a day, what I drink seems ludicrous. But, I assure you, I am not lying – feel free to ask my husband.

Despite the amount of water I drink, sometimes, I simply can’t quench my thirst. I engage in a fair bit of physical activity between working on the farm, exercising, and rugby, meaning I sweat a lot, and I came to the realization that I could arguably significantly benefit from using electrolytes, so I decided to get some for myself.

I purchased the Organika Electrolytes Powder Pink Lemonade Sachets from Amazon, and thus far, I am really enjoying it. I’ve tried a few different kinds of electrolytes, and because I try to use ones that don’t contain a shitload of artificial flavours and chemicals, some of the ones I’ve tried in the past haven’t been so great. The taste is alright, but the ‘healthier’ versions of electrolytes often have a chalky consistency, which I’m not a huge fan of; I am happy to report that Organika’s Pink Lemonade electrolytes are both delicious and free of any weird aftertaste, so I’m considering it a double win.

The flavour is pretty potent in the sense I put one sachet in my gallon bottle and I can taste it, and it’s quite affordable, too. I absolutely recommend these electrolytes.
