Planning a wedding is no simple task. As exciting and wonderful as weddings are, they’re also simultaneously challenging to organize, and if you’ve been involved with wedding planning in any regard you’re arguably aware of the stress that can present itself in trying to keep things under control.
Mine and my fiance’s wedding isn’t until 2022, but we’ve started thinking about what sort of wedding we would to have. In doing so, it has become quite apparent that wedding planning is not something I am particularly looking forward to tackling, however, it’s sort of inevitable considering the wedding in question will be my own.
One thing that has helped make things a little easier in the realm of wedding planning is a little something known as Pinterest. Pinterest, if you’re unfamiliar with it, is basically a virtual bulletin board that allows a user to create different sorts of boards with a variety of things to ‘pin’ to them. With dozens of categories to browse through, for example home decor, cooking, fitness and fashion, it’s a great platform to use if you’re a creative person and enjoy finding new inspiration.
It’s also a great platform to use if you find yourself staring dumbfounded at the task of having to plan your own wedding.
Funnily enough, I started a wedding board via Pinterest long before I even met Blaine, let alone being engaged to him. I don’t use Pinterest too often, but when I do, I tend to pin, or save things I like.
Needless to say, my wedding board contained a lot of ideas and inspirational themes well in advance of having to plan my own wedding, which is something I can thank myself for.
If you’re planning a wedding, consider checking out the wedding category on Pinterest. From dresses to rings to cakes to flowers, there’s something there that can and will appeal to any bride or groom.
