For anyone who read the title of this post and thought of something inappropriate, get your damn mind out of the gutter. Noodles, for the sake of this post, refer to nothing more than types of pasta, and certainly are not making reference to a specific male appendage.
If your mind did wander somewhere a wee bit dark, allow me to state I think we would be great friends for what it’s worth.
Pasta is, and has been for as long as I can remember, one of, if not my favourite food altogether. I’m not Italian, although sometimes I think I may have been in a past life, and if it were up to me, pasta would be something I serve, and furthermore eat, on a daily basis. Blaine likes pasta, but not as much as I do, though, so I have to keep my lust for noodles under control.
As much as I love pasta, there are certain types of noodles I am not a fan of, and others I would arguably die for. I thought I would share my pasta preferences with all of you, or, at least with anyone who cares enough to read this post.
My top two preferred noodle types are penne and farfalle, more commonly known as bowtie pasta. I don’t know what it is about these two types in particular, but I swear they taste better than other types of noodles.
In addition to penne and farfalle, some of my other picks when it comes to pasta include shells, tortellini, ravioli, orzo, fettuccini, cappelletti, linguine, macaroni, and orecchiette.
In regard to noodles I don’t particularly love, these include rigatoni, cannelloni, capellini, rotini, and manicotti. That isn’t to say I won’t eat these types of pasta, because I certainly will; I just prefer other noodle types to these ones, if ya catch my drift.
